Montclair Elementary School PTCO is in partnership with Belvoir Federal Credit Union in Woodbridge. The PTCO decided to partner with the credit union to take advantage of their no fee business checking account for non-profit organizations. In addition, this partnership offers credit union membership eligibility to you and your family members. As a financial cooperative, Belvoir Federal Credit Union helps you save, invest and borrow at fair rates -- for low fees. Belvoir Federal Credit Union has also offered to provide free financial education seminars for PTCO members and classroom presentations for students. Montclair Elementary's PTCO
The Parent Teacher Co-operative Organization (PTCO) is a
non-profit, volunteer group of parents and staff working with
administrators to improve Montclair. There are lots of ways to
participate. We're challenging every parent to join our "3 for Me"
volunteer campaign. Three hours of your time during the year, whether
it's in front of a crowd or behind the scenes, makes a big difference.
Our PTCO supports the school in the form of extra money for teachers,
the library, assemblies and field trips and for programs in music,
physical education, science, technology, art and reading. Membership in
the PTCO costs only $8 per family. Members receive the Montclair
student, teacher and administrator telephone directory.
PTCO volunteers coordinate programs that directly benefit Montclair,
including the Campbell Soup Labels for Education, the General Mills Box
Top program, the Giant A+ Bonus Bucks and Safeway's Scripts campaign.
