MONCLAIR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

PTCO BOARD MEETING

May 5, 2008

 

 

Attendees: Lori, Melanie, Debi, Heather, Holly, Kim, Mrs. Owermohle

Meeting called to order at 5:35pm by Lori Hyde.

President’s Report- Lori Hyde

Our next event will be Movie Night; this will be held May 16^th from 7:00-9:00pm. The movie prices have been updated to $3.00 per adult, 10.00 per family of 4 or more. Tickets will be available for pre-sale as well as at the door, same price. Food will be sold, nachos, popcorn, candy (no nuts), water, juice boxes, and candy. The prices will be decided after we perform a cost analysis. Lori has received license or permission for us to show the movie. Holly is making the tickets for movie night.  

Elections- New board scheduled to take over June 2^nd, however election process moving slow due to lack of interest. Some board members and teachers are trying to recruit prospects.

Principal’s Report- Mrs. Soltis

Next meeting is Wednesday, June 4^th due to a scheduling conflict at 6:00pm.

 

Assistant President Report- Heather Noel

Potomac National game day is June 7.

Singing the 7^th inning stretch, no rain date for the singing, but rain date for the game will be handled like last year, ticketholder will be able to call the park directly to reschedule. This will be a double-header due to a rained out game. The cost will be $10.00.

 

Other – Ms. Owermohle

Ms. Owermohle is requesting an Elmo Art Projector, there are funds left for art technology. Debi motioned to buy Elmo Art Projector for Ms. Owermohle, seconded by Kim, all agreed.
